The Analysis On The Creation Trend Of Mainland Urban Emotional Drama Since 2009

The mainland urban emotional drama occupies nearly one third of the total annual production in TV series because of its highly fit with the reality. And the creation of this type has been already in the mature stage since 2009.This thesis applies text analysis and culture studies as the main research methods. Through text analysis to probe into the artistic development of mainland urban emotional drama, and use film and television culture studies to have an analysis on external transmission of urban emotional drama from the TV film language, political economy, mass culture and so on. In addition, the internal and external studies are all based on the individual case separately. Therefore, have a better exploration on the internal and external developmental causes and characteristics on creation trend of mainland urban emotional drama from 2009.The study found that, as a typical representative of popular culture, the mainland urban emotional drama under the specific production mechanism and communication environment, the creative process and broadcast will be influenced by political, economic, cultural and other kinds of power. Especially recently by the new media platform, and the influence of marketization, network platform and the mainstream broadcast platform show great cultural difference. As a whole, the mainland urban emotional drama has the fuzzy trend of a certain type, the traditional narrative mode to elastic one, the reference from the movie camera language in audio-visual language, the isomorphism of humanity voice creation and reality. Owing to the application of new media vision and more screens, the mainland urban emotional drama has new opportunities to develop itself, and its creation mode also has further diversification.Because of the audile and visual art reproduction of daily life experience, the mainland urban emotional drama presents daily experiences and contemporary realistic life, so in some degree it is the public aesthetic culture representation and it is on the behalf of Chinese mainstream of secular values, and embodies the national cultural soft power in terms of cultural transmission. However, there is little research on the trend of mainland urban emotional drama creation so far, this thesis focuses the creation trend of mainland urban emotional drama since 2009 so as to enrich and broaden dimension on the mainland TV series study. In some way, it has certain practical significance.
