Under the special background and their own law of development, the Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty become less mysterious and more secular.This tendency undermined the sanctity of Buddhism, made the Buddhism deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and impacted on all aspects of the society profoundly.Reflected in the literature,the influence of this tendency on the novels of Ming Dynasty was the most deeply. In the novels of Ming Dynasty, monks and nuns as characters and temples as place emerged more and more frequently and got the erotic color. The first chapter summarizes this performance of erotogenic Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty.The second chapter analyzes the Buddhism reasons of erotogenic Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty.The third chapter analyzes the social reasons of erotogenic Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty.The fourth chapter analyzes the writer’s reason of erotogenic Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty.The last chapter analyzes the aesthetic value of erotogenic Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty.
