The Study On The Configuration Of The Characters Of The Seals Of Jin

The characters of seals of Jin play an important role in the history of the formation of Chinese characters. The comprehensive configuration analysis to the characters of seals of Jin,not only can provide a reliable dating material and make the configuration theory more affluent, but also help to the other related work, such as the textual research on characters.Through the development of the characters of seals, we can get an overview of the regional development of the Warring States′characters.With guidance of the formational theory of Chinese characters, we collate and summarize the materials of the characters of seals of Jin to sort out 1237 words which does not repeat in this paper. On the basis of analysis which called diverse ways of writing and diverse structures, the 1002 words has been ordered to split and we analyze its function of components, configurations and some changes deeply. Finally, we sum up the general characteristics and regional characteristics of the characters of seals of Jin.The thesis is divided into four chapters, the first chapter introduces the status, value and object of the formational research of the characters of seals of Jin, we define the scope and methods of research at the same time; The second chapter points out the different types of diverse ways of writing and diverse structures and we analyze the reasons behind this phenomenon; The third chapter analyzes the category, feature, configurations and some changes of the characters of seals of Jin; The fourth chapter summarizes the configuration characteristics of the characters of seals of Jin.
