Sherpa Folk Musician Research

The research range of this subject is to the territory of the Tibet autonomous region of folk music of Sherpa, the focus of the study was based on the minority groups, especially transnational cross regional comprehensive field investigation of ethnic and folk music culture of the practice, in order to Sherpa folk music as the object of study, briefly introduces the source and distribution of and the population of Sherpa ethnic group, a comprehensive study on the classification of Sherpa shows people folk music and folk singing form, function, environment and heritage status and the men of Sherpa folk music forms and artistic characteristics of music and the objective gene etc.. This research is based on fieldwork, through analyzing the present situation of the ethnic folk music study, objective description and analysis of the status of cultural characteristics of the ethnic music heritage and culture, reflects the ethnic awareness and the importance of their native traditional culture from the fine traditional culture of ethnic groups, as well as in the process of change continues kept in culture characteristics specific to their own ethnic groups. The ethnic folk music in this relatively small area as the research and analysis of the project, and strive to objectively describe and show the unique domestic Sherpa music, to our country especially the small number of ethnic traditional culture concern. In today’s society, the cultural collision between the traditional and the modern, global and local,rural and urban, the experience is increasingly profound impact on the Sherpa folk music culture, in this kind of cultural criticism, Sherpa makes music culture diversification.
