Husserl Positivism Science Analysis And Critical

For Husserl, science has two double meanings, which are specific philosophy and specific the facts of science. Strictly speaking, the meaning of Husserl’s European science is philosophy. For the Greeks, science is the initial exploration of knowledge, while for the European, science belongs to spirit. The spirit of science can’t be explored by the logic of causality, which is used by positivist science. So is the natural science.Recently, positivist science is marked by the Galilean natural science and its methodology basis is the mathematical natural science, which aim is the objectivity and quantification of facts. The positivist science uses the cold attitude to avoid the true meaning of human nature. Secondly, because of the lack of rational meaning, people are confuse of the meaning of the value rationality, scientific rationality and the tool rationality. Thirdly, the natural science uses the theory of mathematics to describe the world. However, the real life is the objective while the mathematics is a tool. This kind of science should aim at the foundation of the final rather than the object mathematics. Therefore, in the perspective of Husserl, the real world is the first evidence of the country.
