Because of the unique viewpoint and high quality, Japanese horror movie has caught the eyes of the world and made itself "the paragon of eastern horror movie". In western horror movies, bloody violence is often used to render the atmosphere, which is very different from Japanese classic horror movie. Finally Japanese horror movie become more popular by the audience. Japanese horro movie, with its own cultural characteristic, has won a great success in business. In this essay, the author analyzed the narrative art of Japanese horror movie and thus hopes this could be helpful for Chinese horror movie to find its own characteristic.
