Left-wing literature and the Left League are very important literary phenomenon in the 1930s Chinese literature, while numerous large and small left-wing journals were founded for literary battle field of progressive literary. Except some famous left-wing literature writers and several main leaders of the left league, progressive literary youth made up a large proportion of left-wing literature forces. Literary youth played an important role both in literary creation and the promotion of the theories. To some extent, literary youth are the main force of the left-wing literature in the 1930s.The author focuses on Unknown Literature Society under the charge of Ye Zi and Chen Qixia, and Raging Waves Literature Society separated from the prior one. By collating and analyzing of a large number of historical data about the two literature communities, the author tires to maximize the basic historical facts of them. On collating the historical facts, the author focuses on analyzing the thought of the progress of the youth and their literary life on the turbulent and complex background. The concentrations of this thesis are as follows:the way that the left youth got together and their different identity characteristics, the group activity of Unknown Literature Society and the culture connotation of the "unknown", the location of the left-wing literature map, moreover, the community’s literary value in the context of "Popularization of Literature and Art" and "Revolutionary Literature".Ye Zi and Chen Qixia went onto the road of literature occasionally. The interest and dedication in left-wing literature pushed them to set up their own literary association:"literature society" in the winter of 1932. Their literary association had attracted a lot of unknown literary youth including a literary predecessor, Peng Jiahuang, rising literary stars like Hei Ying, Wu Qiang and Liu Yichang, and the brief join in of many common lovers. The organization ways of the Unknown Literature Society were executive committee and the general congress, nearly one hundred people of the general congress to illustrate the widespread enthusiasm of the unknown literature youth. Unknown writers in the literary world were a controversial phenomenon at that time. A group of literature youth has a great passion of never willing to be a "nobody". They founded journals, created their own literary position and actively expressed their literary ideas, looked for place for themselves in the literary world, thus achieved their literature aspirations. Indeed they were looking forward to be "well-known" though they touted themselves as "unknown".The group of young people stubbornly wrote their own passionate literary ideal on this basis of their understanding of the bottom of the life following the flag of Popularization of Literature and Art and Revolutionary Literature. They revealed all sorts of rough in life, expressing their deep sympathy on the general civilian. They also tried in women’s literature and children’s literature. In the case of Revolutionary Literature, writing and reflection on revolution show us the depth of these young people’s thought. Despite limited literary level, they sent out a loud voice and flashed the young luster in their own gardens.As a peripheral organization of the Left League, the society followed the spirit of traction from the league. Its literary creation enriched the content of the Left League’s literature. To a certain extent, it also reflected the transition of and the evolvement of its literature. Many members had joined the Left League, and actively participated in the organization life. They attended reading group and learned Marxist literary theory. With the excellent creative practices they got the approval of the leftist writers including Lu Xun.Represented by Ye Zi, the group of "unknown" made the choice to join Left-wing literature and the Left League, which based on the deep thinking of reality of the literary circles. Their works and personal pursuit were also the models for countless youth. After joining the leftist writers, they are no longer lonely warriors in a small part. In the new greater world, they went on the way closer to realize their literary ideals.
