Research On The Musician Qian Jun Tao

Qian Juntao was the greatest artist in our country in the modern time. In his whole life, he reached great achievements in music, publication, handwriting, painting, poetry, seal cutting, collection, bindings and education. Especially in the music realm, he composed the art song and song for children, and put the development of art song and children song forward. He established organizations for music and did a great work for the establishment of two famous music publishing house(People’s music publishing house and Shang Hai music publishing house). He edited music journals to introduce western music and did great work on the development of china’s music in modern time. However, in the development of modern time, many excellent musicians are ignored because they didn’t get respect in the society. Based on literature and research, this article will focus on Qian Juntao and gave him an objective, justice criticism through contrast and analysis, in order to let people understand the influence of him on the modern music history.There are four parts in this article except the preface. The preface mainly introduces the reason,limitation of the research, research method and innovation, and the meaning of research. In the first part, it states the background and life of Qian Juntao. The second part focus on the Chunfeng Concert and the education practice of Qian Juntao. The third part introduces the composition of music and his edition career. In the last part, there will be a historical judgment and rethink of Qian Juntao.
