Comparative Study Of Antonyms Of Guoyu And ZhanGuoce

Both Guoyu and ZhanGuoce belong to the works of the Warring States Period,and they arehistorycal prose.But the completion time of the two works are in sequence.This could reflectthe visage of Chinese Vocabulary of the Pre-Qin Period to a certain extent,having certainhistorical value.This paper take the antonyms of Guoyu and ZhanGuoce as research object,anddo some works as counting,analyzing,descripting and comparsing to reflect the Characteristicsand evolution of vocabulary of the Pre-Qin Period.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the exordium,presenting the significance and the research method of thispaper,introducing the research survey and corpus of the study of antonyms of Guoyu andZhanGuoce.The second part presents the definition and decision of antonyms,and introductes somedifferent views from many scholars in order to obtain relative comprehensive definition anddecide the decision of antonyms of this paper.This part also introductes the judgment method,andenumerates four common method to determined the embody of antonyms.The third part is classification and description of the antonyms of Guoyu and ZhanGuocefrom different views.This part has detailed classification,statistic and description from the viewsof syllable,part of speech,associative relation and semantic corresponding relationships.The fourth part is the discrimination about the sense relationship of the antonyms of Guoyuand ZhanGuoce,in order to compare the service condition of the sense of the antonyms andobserve the service condition of original meaning and alternative meaning.The five part is the summarize of the comparison of the antonyms of Guoyu and ZhanGuocefrom the views of synchronic features and diachronic features,in order to provide relativematerial and reference for the whole Chinese lexical history.of the Pre-Qin Period.
