Analysis Philosophical Thoughts Of Li Se

Li Se (1328-1396), with honor name of Yingshu and courtesy of Muyin, was born in Ningde County of Corea. His father Li Gu was the famous minster of Corea. Li Se was lived in the initial period of Corea, the period of instable society and changed dynasty. As a politician and educator, he strived to maintain the social governance of Corea. As a Confucian ideologist, his thought played the role of connection.Li Se, as the key character of Confucian history in Korea with the function of a link between past and future, not only directly participated in the foundation laying of Korean neo-confucianism thought, and led scholars in finishing the change of Korean Confucianism to Zhuzi ideology -performance neo-confucianism. From the thought origin, the knowledge of Li Se was affected by Zhuzi ideology and Jia ideology in Yuan Dynasty in many aspects; from specific contents, the core thought of performance neo-confucianism of Li Se can be divided into Tai Ji theory, Li Qi theory and temperament theory. The concept of "Tai Ji" belongs to the ontology range of performance neo-confucianism, which concerns temperament theory and cultivation theory. Li Se basically insisted on the "Tai Ji" theory of Zhou Dunyi and Zhu Xi, emphasized on the silence of "Tai Ji", and call "Tai Ji" as the highest state of Zhen. From the aspect of Li Qi, Li Se tried to explain the relationship between Li and Qi with the concept of "Hidden" and "Apparent". And he thought that Li and Qi, just like Hidden and Apparent are generated from the same source. From the aspect of temperament cultivation, Li Se emphasized the unification of Li Qi and Heart. He divided human nature into "naturalness nature" and "temperament nature", "heaven nature" and "people nature". From the aspect of cultivation, he emphasized harmony which can be reflected from veneration, sincere and performance. Li Se was the link Confucianism of Korean Confucianism from poetry article to heavenly principle humanity. His Confucianism thought contained the "external domain" and the "internal holy". In fact, his neo-confucianism thought mainly supported the social political reform from the theory, and the purpose was social governance. Therefore, Li Se had successively advised "Five Issues about Current Politics" and "Eigth Issues about Current Politics" to Corea, thus trying to realizing his social political thought through reform.Li Se had always devoted to the learning, researching and promoting of Confucianism. His philosophical thought played important role in the development of East Asia Confucianism and Korean Confucianism and had significant influence on the society of Corea and North Korea.
