Jin Xiang Music Criticism Research

Jin Xiang is an active “amphibious” musician in the modern music field,most of thetime he as an composer’s identity in the public eye,but in fact, he criticized in music is also quitegood results.This paper takes the two achievements--music criticism and music creation as theobject, from the perspective of music criticism to examine his music activities, and then acomprehensive evaluation on it.The author thinks Jin Xiang’s music creation activity with the characteristics of a“amphibious” by collecting his creation.On the one hand, he created a lot of music works incomposing business, renowned at home and abroad;On the other hand also results in the field ofmusic criticism is outstanding, has published two books collection of music criticism.Overall,two music results of Jin Xiang are interrelated.This article first through to the first criticismcorpus, think unique perspectives, language frank is a significant characteristic in his musiccriticism writing;In followed by the interpretation of the second corpus, the paper points out thatconcept closely, rich in content, is shown after Jin Xiang after10years precipitationcharacteristics of the new criticism.Then, from above the critical literature, the author try to do asketch of Jin Xiang, think he is a music critic with hot music feelings, fit the way of thinking,magnanimous attitude towards life and persistent music critics of aesthetic concepts.Music criticism to guide the music practice, through to the Jin Xiang music criticism’sresearch, the author thinks that "empty,unreal,scattered,implicit,repellent”five aesthetic conceptis the core of the aesthetic leading his music creation.Therefore, in the resolution of musiccreation practice, with the aesthetic concept as a clue, feelings through the overview of aestheticconcept, humanistic spirit and music creation practice three aspects to do a resolution on hismusic creation.The paper respectively from the perspective of macro and micro two Jin Xiang doa overall evaluation, and points out the study of music criticism and the enlightenment to thedevelopment of contemporary music.The author thinks that Jin Xiang’s music criticism andmusic creation in the development of contemporary music occupies the important position, forJin Xiang’s comprehensive study not only of music theory and further development of musicpractice has positive inspiration.
