An ancient and magical place, the ancient city of Pingyao, one carryingthousand years of culture, one on the road of culture risen and flourishing. Since2001, the first session of the Pingyao International Photography Festivalheld, its festival culture, its international prestige has made greatachievements, all of these not only the driving force of Pingyao’s cultureindustry, but also brought rich color on the culture of Pingyao. Cultural ecologywas shaped in particular location, the cultural community was shaped in theprogress of people production and living, was the important section of peoplespiritual culture. Take the Pingyao International Photography Festival under thevison of culture, not only could analyze the International Photography Festivalmore profoundly, but also could review the regional culture in the vision ofecology, and offer constructive proposal to the sustainable development ofculture.Through Carefully formal orchestrated photography art,PingyaoInternational Photography Festival has shaped the new brand image, has yieldedunusually brilliant results of traditional and local culture, has blended advanced culture ideas and brand planning ideas, has opened the valve of Pingyaoeconomic through cultural exploit. Depend on the accurately grasp of marketpositioning, the combination of native culture and foreign culture, has becomethe local international cultural platform. Through the continuous innovation anddevelopment, Pingyao International Photography Exhibition has became theInternational famous cultural brand, which one has made a huge contribution tothe economy, has obtained the thought of development of cultural industry andthe successful marketing case of win-win development on local culture andeconomy.This thesis takes Pingyao Photography Festival impacts on ecologicalculture as the breakthrough point, and the effect of the exhibition theme ofchoice is reviewed, and then to the Pingyao exhibition of the brand strategy isstudied in detail, analyzes the construction of brand culture, its mode ofoperation and to drive the derivatives industry; and then analyses show whateffect for the surrounding public art accomplishment, finally summarizes theimpact of the Pingyao International Photography Festival on the culturalecology.
