| With the development of computer and multimedia technologies, more and more people prefer tQ use network communication tools like QQ, online forums in order to share information and express their emotions. Thus a new kind of language-network language, which is different from our daily life language comes into use. In recent years, the development of Internet language has had a great impact on the development of the society and especially the Chinese language itself, therefore a research of the Internet language has a significant theoretical and practical meaning. In this thesis, on the basis of data collections we systematically studied various Internet words, which are in common use among the young people. This thesis explains the concept, the origin and the development of Internet language, the characteristics and the main styles of language that the evolution of the internet language created in recent years. In addition, on the basis of general understanding of the Internet language, this thesis also analyzed its social psychology, cultural implications and the influence on social development. |
