As a Russian government granted chartered company, Russian-AmericanCompany has an exclusive trading arbitrary power within a specific range. Act as therole of a tool in overseas expansion. In an unique management style,Russian-American Company conducts maritime trade and overseas adventure in theNorth Pacific Ocean.The full text is divided into three parts. That is, introduction, body andconclusion.The first part of the first chapter, it is an introduction. Mainly, it describes thesignificance of the topic, summarizes research status at home and abroad, explains theresearch methods, innovations and deficiencies.The second part is the body, consists of four chapters, namely from the secondchapter to the fifth chapter.The second chapter analyzes the founding background of the Russian-Americancompany. Since emperor Peter, the strategy’s showing in the Pacific, that is todominate the world, compete for marine first. Meantime, the sea expedition opens upthe route from Siberia to America. Driven by the lucrative fur trade, businessmen whowith the adventurous spirit, scramble for there. Their requirements of building themonopoly enterprise coincide with the Czar’s maritime expansion strategy.The third chapter examines the Russian-American Company’s main industrialrelations and organizational management. I deem that the exploitation of local laborseverely limits the company’s development. Considering that in the organization andmanagement of the company, the influences of the aristocracy and bureaucracybecome increasingly prominent, national interests rather than the commercial interestsof the company serve as a major factor. The fourth chapter specifies two core content of the Russian-Americancompany’s management, that is maritime exploration and trade, they complement andinfluence mutual. Through the company’s trade and exploration activities, aimed at toa detailed investigation into the mode of operation of the Russian American company.And through this analysis of economic conflicts with foreign competitors, to explorethe influences imposed by government.The fifth chapter, not only analyzes the Russian-American Company’smanagement crisis, but also finds out the deep-seated causes of the Russian-AmericanCompany’s failure, in contrast with the the British East India Company, Country is animportant factor in business to create and maintain a competitive advantage, and thecompany’s development is closely related to the advantages of the country ininternational competition.The third part is the conclusion.
