Exploration On Yan Fu’s Hominology Under The Background Of The Modern Transformation Of Chinese Philosophy

There were many internal and external problems for Modern China. Chinese began to reflect on human rights and dignity in this special condition. Under this background, research on people’s problems became the focus in academic circles. Yan Fu, as the representative of Chinese philosophy and the first person opened the horizon in China. To achieve the self-conservation as the purpose, his hominology was proposed because of these. On the one hand, he absorbed the essence of the spirit of times and studied the western outstanding cultural achievements to update the concept of personality.
