This study surveyed the Yantai, Linyi, Binzhou,Xining and other places of218new generation migrant workers as the research object, used of questionnaire and scale,to explore the impact of social identification of new generation migrant on theirwell-being, and investigate the mediating role of Self-esteem. Using independentsample t test, one way ANVOA, regression analysis and other statistical methods, getthe following results:(1)The well-being of rural identity of new generation migrant workers is low, theobvious diversity exists in the dual identity (" first rural identity, secondly city identity"or" first city identity, secondly rural identity "), and identify themselves as "citypeople".(2)The new generation of migrant workers social identity affect their well-being,the Self-esteem play a role of intermediary.(3)New generation of migrant workers marital status, working years, income, andthe standard of culture has a significant influence on well-being.(4)New generation of migrant workers age, cultural level, working years, and theprofessional differences has a significant influence on social identification.
