The book portrayed a huge ghost world, the ghost system in the hell not only follow the ghost system of Buddhism and Taoist, but also contain folk God or ghost, the theory of this book origin from the conception of samsara, hell and retribution etc, which proved by a series of folktales. When people has read the book, they would be familiar and practice these theory which influenced their world outlook, outlook on life and values, so it is guide people to perform good deeds, comfort soul and help social stability to a certain extent. The world of ghost hell in the<Yu Li Bao Chao> there are different management responsibility, clear division of the executive, large number of hell, and all kinds of punishment, so it is a microcosm of people’s concept of hell. The analysis of hell ghost thought in<Yu Li Bao Chao>, we can enrich the research of Chinese culture, deepen the understanding of life and study on the culture of death, so it has very important meaning for research of Chinese folk religion. This paper explain the hell ghost thought of<Yu Li Bao Chao> at first, then study on the theory of hell ghost thought, source and system of ghost hell. The second, we can see the influence of Buddhism, Taoism and folk religion in the<Yu Li Bao Chao>.The third, on the basis of the context, we can sum up the characteristics of ghost hell in the <Yu Li Bao Chao> again, and analysis the reason of population, sketch out the outline of hell ghost so that enrich the existing research achievement. |
