The Historical Level And Contact Study Of Hakka Dialect Around Beitou Town, Lianping Country

Hakka research has attained a certain breadth and depth,but it mainlyconcentrated in Meizhou area.To some remote areas,it still attracts nobody.Accordingto this situation,this thesis selects the Hakka dialect in Beitou Town,Lianping Countryas representive in order to describe the phonetic system of Hakka Dialect in BeitouTown and around it. This thesis try to summe up system as well as the internaldifferences through Synchronic comparison between Beitou Town and its surroundingareas and also attempts to figure out the evolution and historical level ofBeitou-Hakka-dialect’s phonetic through diachronic comparison with medievalphonology,which can provide a more primitive corpus for future researchers and offersome theoretical bases for the theory of language contact.
