In art and design creative designers choice of materials is more and more widely. Natural materials, artificial material, different material has its unique language attribute. The expression of language awareness materials, and reasonably applied to the practice of design appears increasingly important. This paper mainly studies the material language expression and application in book design, the material language as an important part of design, throughout the book design.
