| This article brought Chinese new words and Thai new words to compare andanalyze, including syllables, type of words and morphology. By statistics, aftercompare and analyze can be found that the most of Chinese new words are threesyllables words, but the most of Thai new words are two-syllable words, and We canfound that mostly of Chinese new words are noun type, but Thai new words are verbtype; although Chinese and Thai new words structure are Sub-Main type in the samedirection, but the ratio of Chinese new words is greater than Thai new words, the ratioas61.47:32.53.On the other hand, this article surveyed the understanding of Thai native speakerwho learn Chinese New Words of nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, foreign words,English and Chinese mixed together words, we can see from the statistics anddetailed analysis that respondents are not very understanding in Chinese newwords,approximately56.95%, while only31.3%of the respondents understands theChinese new words, and they understand the most is the pronoun type of new words,about72%; the most do not understand is the new foreign words, about69.9%,andmost of the respondents study Chinese new words by surfing the Internet,communicate with Chinese people, and watching Chinese TV-series or movies. |
