With the global "Chinese fever" continues to heat up, more and more colleges and universities offer Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. MTCSOL’s curriculum is the foundation and an important part of the professional training and plays a very important role. As a newly established major, most of MTCSOL’s courses are set in accordance with the guidance of training program issued by the National Education Steering Committee for MTCSOL. Since the development of MTCSOL is not mature, and MTCSOL’s guidance training program still has much space to improve. Meanwhile, the students of the institutions have complex academic background, teachers’strength uneven, the MTCSLO’s curriculum has many problems especially its cultural lesson. This essay investigates four capital universities’returning Chinese teaching volunteers, who major in MTCSOL through questionnaire and interview. The essay also organizes their feedback on their professional curriculum and culture teaching, and gives some corresponding reference recommendation on the basis of analyzing results for the long-term healthy development of MTCSOL’s future. This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction. Focuses on the cause and significance of the topic of this paper, and discusses the main research results of teacher training, MTCSOL’s curriculum and cultural education for foreigner, while the research methods in this paper are questionnaires and interviews. The second part is the investigation and analysis of returning volunteers’feedback on MTCSLO’s curriculum and cultural lessons, including overseas volunteers’status of capturing cultural point while teaching Chinese and the setting of MTCSOL’s curriculum. The third part is the reflection and recommendations for returned volunteers’cultural teaching situations and settings of MTCSLO’s curriculum.According to the lack of volunteers’professional limitation and curriculum’s, the paper puts forward four suggestions for MTCSLO’s curriculum, proposing to strengthen professional training, improve volunteers’own quality; to increase foreign communication, lays the foundation of teaching practice; to optimize the source of students, tend to non-universal language admission policy; curriculum system; to pay attention to cultural education, let language teaching and cultural teaching go hand in hand. The fourth part is the conclusion, summarizing the problem and the results found in this investigation while explaining the limitation of the study.
