The Study On The Development Of Contemporary Chinese Cultural Soft Power

The study on the development of contemporary Chinese cultural soft power is the key issue of great practical and theoretical significance. At present, the cultural soft power plays a very important role in the competition of the overall national strength, and to promote the cultural soft power becomes the key strategy in the competition. China, in the recent30years, has experienced a rapid development since the implementation of reform and opening up policy. While in contrast with the fast economic growth, the development of cultural soft power was comparatively slower. With the changing global and national situation, challenges and opportunities are both exist to promote the cultural soft power. So it’s of urgent necessary in our national cultural construction, through the further study of the development of contemporary Chinese cultural soft power, to explore the countermeasure to improve the cultural soft power so long as to enable China being qualified the position as one of the strong nations in the world from the perspective of the influences and competitiveness of cultural soft power, and finally construct a strong nation of socialist culture and stand erect in the national forest of the world with the stronger overall national strength.The thesis consists six parts:The first part includes the background of the topic selection; the current study both at home and abroad; theoretical significance and practical value, approaches of the research; key points&difficult points, and innovations.The second part involves the formulation of the relevant concepts, mainly touching upon the angles of the relative concept, key opponents and manifestation of cultural soft power.The third part is engaged to arguing the development and function of cultural soft power in contemporary China from the perspective of the origin and significance of the promotion respectively to highlight its development and function.The fourth part gives the detail analysis of the current development of China’s cultural soft power including the major achievements and deficiencies through the digital data.The fifth part focuses on the investigation of the approaches to enhance China’s cultural soft power from the aspects of the reinforce of socialist core value system construction, the motivation of cultural development and prosperity, the promotion of the nations’ cohesiveness and creativity, the avocation of traditional Chinese culture and the spreading of the influence of the soft power upon foreign countries, while at the same time puts forward the rational proposals on the approaches on the issue.The last part is the conclusion.
