The Study On Gannan Hakka Eco-culture And Its Contemporary Value

Nowadays, the global ecological balance has been threatened seriously, ecologicalwisdom contained in traditional culture plays a potential role in the natural environmentprotection, which now has been paid attention by people. As an important part of ourtraditional culture, Gannan Hakka eco-culture, generated in the unique geographicalenvironment and social environment, is the product of Hakka’s adaption, utilization,transformation of nature and the adaption to the social development, which should alsocontain rich ecological thought. Study on Gannan Hakka eco-culture is beneficial to ourconstruction of ecological civilization.On the basis of the literature and history data collection of Gannan Hakka eco-cultureand the survey of19counties in Gannan, we make an initial research on Gannan eco-cultureand its contemporary value and mainly discussed it by the following five parts:Firstly, we make a brief introduction to the current research situation of Gannan Hakkaeco-culture, summarize the various research achievements and make an elemental summaryon the related data of Hakka eco-culture, which lays a solid foundation for the study of thetopic. On the second part, this paper analyzes the generated background and theory origin ofGannan Hakka eco-culture. We describe Gannan eco-culture’s formation background that thespecial nature and specific social environment in detail. We also study the Confucianism,Buddhism, Taoism and native Wu culture’s influence on the formation of Hakka eco-culture.On the third part, we describe the basic value of Gannan Hakka eco-culture, elaborate theHakka people’s attitude and understanding to nature, life, human relations, development etc.,which are influenced by the objective environment and unique native culture, then summarizetheir ecological values. On the fourth part, based on the third part, combining with thelocal people’s ecological practice, we detect the contemporary value of the Gannan Hakkaeco-culture.
