Landscape Painting Of Ink Research During Song And Yuan Dynasty

The Song and Yuan Dynasties is the most important historical stage in the historyof Chinese landscape painting. In this period, there were many first-class landscapepainter appeared and a lot of outstanding landscape works retained. During this period,the development of ink painting occupy the mainstream, and this paper is to explorethe development of ink painting of this period, by study the Song and Yuan Dynastieslandscape painting. The study of the Song and Yuan Dynasties landscape painting is nolonger a strange topic, many books and articles are involved, but we can not only see inisolation the good paintings of that era, limited to only understand a few great paintersof that period, we should to place it among the social environment of the Song andYuan, comprehensive the time’s background and the evolution of the philosophy, theestablish and further development of literati painting ideas to analyze why landscapepainting in the Song and Yuan Dynasties occupy the mainstream, In order to find somefield that we have not recognized or know but did not pay enough attention.In this paper, we have studied from four parts of the Song and Yuan Dynasties inklandscape painting. First, discusses the origins of ink landscape painting in the firstpart. This section involves landscape painting’s generate in the Wei and Jin, theindependent of landscape painting in the Sui and green landscape painting’s emerge,then leads to the generation of ink landscape painting in the Mid and Late Tang, andthe inheritance and development of ink landscape painting in the Five Dynasties. Thesecond and third parts are the focus of this paper, respectively discusses ink landscapepainting in the Song and Yuan Dynasties around two major fronts. First, the reasonwhy ink landscape painting flourished, starting in three parts，the historical background,philosophical ideology and development of literati painting thought, then explore thepresentation of the landscape painting style，combining the famous landscapepainters and their paintings in this historical period. The article’s end is the study ofhow the contemporary landscape painting landscape painting should inherit the spiritof the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Song and Yuan Dynasties’s ink landscape painting isnot only have a major impact on the Ming and Qing Dynasties, its influence onContemporary Landscape is also very far-reaching. So for the contemporary landscape researchers, how to inherit the spirit of the Song and Yuan ink landscape painting, isalso can not be ignored.
