Since the beginning of Inner Mongolia’s traditional Chinese painting, received the attention from people with its unique regional ethnic customs. It’s developed experienced from the founding of municipality to the end of the cultural revolution, this is the early-stage. The development-stage from the reform and opening up to the late of1980s, since the1990s from now on is the boom-stage. It is from simple narrative style to lyrical style. Now it’s towards diversified styles.This paper talk about Inner Mongolian’s Chinese painting from the basic necessities of life and spiritual culture. On the basis of material life and spiritual life, I described and try to analysis of the same scene of the national minority theme. I try to give a brief summary of three mainly expression:match of the Realization, Exaggeration and Decoration to describe respectively the artist’s work. In combination with the painting of national minority theme, and talk about the current situation and problem of Inner Mongolia’traditional Chinese painting. It will developing towards the trend of diversification in the future.The purpose of this article is through exploring the development of Inner Mongolia’s traditional painting, analysis the content and art forms of the painting, researching the problems has been encountered and the trend of development in the future. In order to give a hand to the development of Inner Mongolia, to Learn more about the subject of this painting.
