Oil painting which is a imported art, now already united into Chinese painting system. It has a strong influence on Chinese artist generation by generation, It's has experienced in approving, facsimile, innovation and now it is going to maturation.Throughout the one century's acquaintance and learning, Chinese oil painting's development is the most important historic mission for Chinese'oil painting sector.Famous scholar Fei Xiaotong when talked about the development of Chinese culture in 21st century pointed out that'culture awakening'is a important character for one country's soft power. China became a multi-race nation during the lengthy course of historical development. The variety of culture and multi-race carrier is one of the basic historic and realistic national conditions. It's also made Chinese oil painting based itself on tradition, to develop the base of oriental taste oil painting style. Oil painting has endless vitality toward Chinese artist, because of its not inherited focus on performance of specific and extraordinary of colour and structure from western oil painting's traits, but also established oriental art's painting words, reflects the charm of Chinese traditional painting. Chinese artist can create with their way of thinking in this platform, can search the foothold of oil painting between nationalization and globalization, and truly combine the characteristic of western oil painting and Chinese traditional painting. It's time for Chinese oil painting to construct its own value system and form Chinese aesthetics visage from its awakening. From the "national character" and proposed to "explore with the spirit of the times, the Chinese characteristics and personality traits of Chinese Oil Painting", Chinese oil painting to get rid of blindly follow the status of Western values into their development stage.But it's hard to promote Chinese oil painting's development only by shouting slogans, it must to be considered from the essence of culture. As Chinese mainstream culture form if the aesthetics standard is still following the west it seems like we copy the western oil painting again, and we did not expressed our connotation with this special language, so that we must establish our value standard and aesthetics tropism.This thesis starts from two sides by internal and external of Chinese oil painting's national character, and aims at combining efficiently the sprite and form of Chinese oil painting. Because Chinese national character oil painting's research always started from one side at present, people always prefer to discuss the important, and conclude a ambiguous result. In addition I think the development of Chinese oil painting's national character seems like into a bottleneck, for opening up this complexion, I try to start from the crossing of internal and external of Chinese oil painting's national character, in particular start with scene oil painting and landscape oil painting for sustained development research. This kind of pertinent research can provide feasible methods for Chinese oil painting's national character'development, meanwhile it provide the platform for enhancing the creative of Chinese modern painting, also efforts to show the world with Chinese national ethos painting art.
