The study investigates1400adolescent students aged12to25in Nanjing by using theAdolescent Mobile Internet Psychological and Behavioral Characteristics Questionnaire andreceived1122valid questionnaires.With demographic difference analysiss and regression analysissthis study summes up the adolescents mobile Internet psychology and behavior characteristics.Conclusions are as follows:(1) The average age of adolescent mobile internet network are3.89±2.38years, the averagetime spent online of adolescent per day are2.30±2.47hours. Mobile phone has become one of themain ways of adolescents’access to the internet, second only to personal computers and homecomputers. The main purpose of adolescent surfing the mobile internet is interactivecommunication,the other contents according to the requencies are information acquisition, internetleisure entertainment and online transaction.(2) There are significant differences in home location, parental status and family economicsituation and extremely significant differences in grade segment and price of mobile phone in use ofadolescent’s network age. The average years of mobile internet network of adolescent who are inhigher grades,in the city, parents are not alive, etc.,from richer families or price of mobile phone inuse is more than3,000yuan are much more.(3) There are extremely significant differences in gender, the only-child or not,grade segmentand price of mobile phone in use.The average time spent online per day of adolescents who arenon-only child, in higher grades,or the price of mobile phone in use is more than3,000yuan arelonger.(4) There are demographic significant differences in adolescents’ mobile internet behaviors.Theadolescents who are boys, in high grades or price of mobile phone in use is more than3,000yuanhave more online transcation activities,and the adolescents who are girls,non-only child,in highergrades,in the town or village,or price of mobile phone in use is more than3,000yuan have moremobile internet interaction activities,and the adolescents who are non-only child,in higher grades orprice of mobile phone in use is more than3,000yuan have more information acquisitionactivities,and the adolescents who are only-child, in city or town, from richer families price ofmobile phone in use is more than3,000yuan have more internet leisure entertainment activities.(5) Adolescents who have more information acquisition activities are more likely to adopt positive coping style in the life events,and who have more online transcation and internet leisureentertainment activities are more likely to adopt negative coping style in the life events.(6) Adolescents who have more information acquisition and internet leisure entertainmentactivities have stronger interpersonal communication capability and tend to be more active incommunication,who have more information acquisition activities are better at solvingcommunication problems and conflicts,who have more internet leisure entertainment activities aremore likely to provide emotional supports to each other in communication and who have moreonline transcation activities can better reveal emotion and express themselves in interpersonalcommunication.(7) Higher neuroticism adolescents spend more time online and prefer to have more onlineinteracting and transcation activities,higher extraversion adolescents network age are shorter and aremore likely to access information through mobile phones,higher openness adolescents network ageare longer and have less online interacting and transcation activities,higher agreeablenessadolescents network age are shorter and spend less time online per day and have less onlineactivities,and higher sense of responsibility adolescents have less internet leisure entertainmentactivities.
