With the rapid development of our country’s occupation education, higher vocationalcolleges both in teaching reform, or talent cultivation structure adjustment and other aspects,there are great changes. Subsequently, the school teaching activities have gradually enriched,provides guarantee for Vocational College Students’ comprehensive quality training. Musiceducation is the main way of quality education for students, but also the indispensable contentof curriculum construction in Vocational colleges. With the development of music educationin higher vocational colleges, the capacity building role for students gradually highlighted. Ashigher vocational college music teaching workers, the author in teaching, personal experienceto create a comprehensive music education of Higher Vocational Students’ Ideological andmoral construction, positive and optimistic attitude, comprehensive aesthetic taste, strongcommunication ability and other aspects, so that higher vocational students boring singleprofessional learning, because of the development of music education and become more andmore rich. Therefore, in the foundation of higher vocational colleges, higher vocationalstudents’ characteristics of music teaching requirements, through the science of musicteaching means, play music education rich in quality education, improve the comprehensivequality of ability of Higher Vocational College students. The research content of this papermainly includes the following several aspectsFirst of all, the introduction part is to explore the content and innovation of the researchbackground and significance of research, literature review and research methods, the. The firstchapter is the analysis of the music education in Higher Vocational Colleges function, mainlyfrom the penetration of moral education, aesthetic education, the embodiment of the all-rounddevelopment of people, developing and creating the capacity of four aspects of acomprehensive exposition. The second chapter is the existence of music education in HigherVocational Colleges problems are analyzed, respectively summarized in higher vocationalcolleges teaching facilities are backward, the choice of teaching material contents relativelyold, lack of means of music teaching reform and innovation of music curriculum lacksnormative, music teaching mode structure is not reasonable, higher vocational college music practice platform less. The third chapter is the strategy research carried out on the musiceducation in Higher Vocational colleges. The first is to increase the investment in teachingfacilities to provide guarantee for the music education; two is the science update teachingmaterial content rich curriculum construction; three is to enrich the teaching methods toimprove students’ music learning interest; the four is to improving the teaching contentstandard music curriculum; five is the scientific construction of the teaching mode to realizethe target of talent cultivation; six is to build a platform to improve the students’ ability of ArtMusic practice. Finally, is the conclusion of the article.
