About The Graffiti For Chinese Characters

The research on graffiti art has always been a popular and fresh topic since its rise.Graffiti is an art form on the basis of post-modernist. Its unique beauty and the self-expressionand emotional expression inherent underneath, are in consonance with the rebellion of theyoung post-war generation, which have a broad impact on our daily life in the modern era.The studies for Graffiti in China were started a little bit late in the early21th Century,when the Graffiti was already popular. And the focus is always on its origins and development,its form and content, and the aesthetic research on the visual symbols. We try to apply Graffitiin many cases, such as clothing, decoration, design and so on, but in most cases, they consistof Latin characters and European symbols.One significance of this thesis is that we try to explore the external features of the westernGraffiti according to the study on its origin and development. At the meanwhile, we try tocombine the western Graffiti features with Chinese characters and Chinese traditionalsymbols, to enrich the graffiti.
