A Strategic Approach And Introspection To The Current Situation Of Humanity Of Scientific Academia In China

Promoting the humanistic ideas of science and technology workers is a necessaryissue for the time being, not only the demand of combining the scientific spirit andhumanistic ideas, but also the fundamental quality for developing the humanistic ideas ofscience workers and the atmosphere for technology itself. This article analyzed theconnotation of humanistic ideas, illustrating from the origin of humanistic ideas, therelationship of scientific workers and humanistic ideas and the qualified personality forscientific workers. It also analyzed the value of humanity feelings for science andtechnology workers with the following aspects such as workers’ thinking pattern, theirview of research, and illogical thinking ability. Based on the analyses of the phenomenonof less attention to humanistic quality, lacking social responsibility, lacking moral andcivilization quality, and the utilitarian phenomenon, it discussed the reasons for lackingof humanistic feelings. It brought up some suggestions for this situation in three aspects.First, science and technology workers should undertake moral obligation whiledeveloping self-discipline spirit in view of individuals, management of science andtechnology, society, education and other perspective. Second, technical superintendentsshould perfect the standardizing system of scientific research and the evaluation system.Finally, the whole society should attach more importance to cultivation of humanisticquality.
