The Research Of Poetry And Poetics Of Zhou Rong

Zhou Rong, who was an important adherent poet of Zhejiang province, lived in the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty. The life experiences, the poetic theory and the poetic creation were marked brand of the times.First,in the aspect of poetry theory,Zhou Rong advocated that poetry should express elegant temperament, take an implicit nature expression, and be Bi, Dun and Li.Second, in the aspect of poetry thought connotation, Zhou Rong took the life experiences of frustrated ambitions and emotional experience of love-hate into the poetic creation, so the poetry showed the hate of the subjugation, the thought of his own country,the ambition of moral integrity and the melancholy of his special experience. The emotions were the central demonstrations of the adherent complex at the occasion of the Ming and Qing. Third, in the aspect of poetry artistic features, Zhou Rong expressed his melancholy of adherents by the mournful artistic conception, the inflectional structure and the absurd language. This paper make an comprehensive discussion in terms of the poetry theory, the poetry thought connotation and the poetry artistic features on the basis of combing the experiences and the versions of his works by the empirical research and the text interpretation, and with the appendixes of Chronicle, Collecting Lost Works Written by ZHOU Rong, Supplement of Chun Jiu Tang Wai Ji, so that we can sketch the contours of Zhou Rong and his poetry and make comments for his status and influence in the adherent poets of the early Qing Dynasty.
