The Research On Yang Wujiu’s Taochanci

Yang Wujiu, a distinguished Ci poet of early period of the Southern Song Dynasty from Qingjiang, Jiangxi, was the writer of "tao chan ci", of which the feature was original, vivid and full of flexibility and interest. However, the academia’s research on this Ci is weak at present.The thesis selects "tao chan ci" as the research object, and explores the Yang Wujiu’s experience, works and peregrination through empirical study and text comprehension. By Detailed classification of his woks and in-depth discussion of the artistic skill and style, the author tries to precisely describe his work and give an objective evaluation of his status and influence in Ci collectanea of early period of the Southern Song Dynasty.
