This paper mainly studies the body focus on new media art. Through the feature study,diachronic narration and case study, it discusses the basic concept, expression technique, artistictrend and narration style evolution of new media art generated from technological creationreform during the development process and medium transformation. This paper is intended toexpound that China new media art faces with huge tension and issues arising from schoolyard,market, creation and other related domains, which is known as one of the most important pioneerexperimental art as well as the fastest growing subject of art education; examine the identifytransformation of artists in specific time and space, or other specific group including publicintellectuals, event organizers and critics, and understand how they express the inner feeling andrequest through new media art; interpret the historical origin of body concept and the variousexpression or application of the aesthetic form at different stages; reveal the technologicalsymbol of new media and crisscrossed body implicit concepts of various kinds as carried byvisual language and its orientation and basis which can be sprouted, constructed, exhibited andrecognized; deeply analyze the national feature and uncertainty as generated from materialdemand and humanistic spiritual evolution of China new media art, which are hidden in urbanmodernity; and review the full disclosure of all value domains and right manipulative techniquesof consumer’s society under the influence of China new media art. With the study of the saidfeature, this paper can depict the historic milestone of China new media art from1988to2013,presenting with the realistic significance and revelation of creation and market.
