Cultural and creative industry plays an important role in adjusting the industrial structure,promoting economic growth and increasing employment. As the important component of thecultural and creative industry, the growth status of cultural and creative SMEs has animportant influence upon cultural and creative industries. Cultural and creative SMEs accountfor a large proportion of cultural and creative industry in Tianjin. Therefore, in-depth realizingthe development status of cultural and creative industry in Tianjin, exploring the key factorsinfluencing the growth of cultural and creative SMEs, enhancing the growth ability of theenterprise and fully utilizing the role of cultural and creative SMEs are the effective way toenhance the competitiveness of cultural and creative industry in Tianjin. Although the growthof enterprises is affected by both internal and external factors, the internal factors play adecisive role based on the enterprises endogenous growth theory. Therefore, the paper studiesthe internal factors influencing the growth of cultural and creative SMEs.Firstly, the paper analyzes and defines the connotation of cultural and creative SMEs.Secondly, the paper systemically heckles the enterprise endogenous growth theory andcultural and creative industry theory, summarizes the factors that influencing the growth ofSMEs and the development of cultural and creative industry. By combining the growthcharacteristics and problem of cultural and creative SMEs in Tianjin, analyzing the detailedinternal factors that influence the growth of cultural and creative SMEs and selecting thefactors index that measure the growth of enterprise, the paper constructs a theoretical model.And then, the empirical research on130cultural and creative SMEs in Tianjin is carried out,and the original questionnaire data is analyzed by SPSS19.0, including factor analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis. Finally, based on the research conclusion, thepaper puts forward the growth strategy of cultural and creative SMEs in Tianjin.The research has a certain understanding on the growth status and growth factors ofcultural and creative SMEs in Tianjin, which also has a certain guiding significance on thedevelopment of cultural and creative SMEs in Tianjin.
