| Cultural industry is the most promising sunrise industry and the spiritual motivation topromote economic and social development. It is also the critical factors to enhancecomprehensive competitiveness and the sustainable development ability in different countriesand areas. While nowadays, the overwhelming majority of cultural industries developedvigorously in various areas are industry of city culture which is represented by the modernmedia and fashion. As for the traditional culture and industry of country culture, especiallythose which represent he local characteristics of folk culture and traditional craft culture valuehave not yet been paid enough attention. Due to lack of cultural psychology and successors,some of traditional crafts are even becoming vanished. And traditional craft culture has itsown distinctive characteristics such as national character, non-repeatability, peculiarity,regionalism, which differ it from other cultures. Traditional folk cultural products are mostcompetitive because they are mainly made by traditional craft process and can meet thediversified needs of modern cultural consumption.In the context of the vigorous development of cultural industry and on the basis of thetheory of traditional crafts inheritance and folk culture industry development at home andabroad, this paper studies traditional crafts inheritance and folk culture industry developmentby using such method as literature analysis, survey, and case analysis, etc. For one thing, thispaper explores the reasons which limit the industrial development of folk and country culture.For another, this paper systematically analyses the development of bronze drum instrumentsindustry so as to reveal its development rules and thus lays foundation for developmentprogram of bronze drum instruments industry at Shangchuankou village, Yangling and putforward practical suggestions on protecting and inheriting bronze drum instruments crafts.The results of this study may have certain reference to bronze drum instruments industrydevelopment at Shangchuankou village, Yangling, developing country culture industry,protecting traditional crafts, and in the meantime inheriting and carry forward these crafts.Through a series of systematic and scientific verification, the following standpoints areput forward in this paper. Firstly, based on discussing and analyzing the main theory and viewpoints about traditional crafts inheritance and folk culture industry development, theauthor of this paper proposes that the focus of research about Traditional Crafts Inheritanceand Folk Culture Industry Development should be shifted to those cultural products andenterprises which have not yet aroused the scholars’ great attention. The focus of most ofstudies in this field conducted by domestic scholars is on the traditional folk culture whichhas already formed the brand products and enterprises. While there are fewer studies onbronze drum instruments industry development conducted in this paper. Secondly, this paperpoints out that the bronze drum instruments could be applied widely while industry level israther low. Nowadays this industry is featured by separate production and management andlower quality of employed persons in this field which seriously restrict and affect thedevelopment of the industry. Thirdly, the author highlights the problems of inheriting theskills of making bronze drum instruments. Most of technicians who engage in making bronzedrum instruments become ageing, lack worthy successors and face the potential crisis ofserious shortage of skilled technicians. Fourthly, the author put forward planning pattern forsustainable development of bronze drum instruments industry at Shangchuankouvillage,Yangling, namely, with the drum industrial park as a platform, leading enterprises asthe key, and safeguarded by policy measures, thus the sustainable development of theindustry will be promoted. |
