Recently, as the assistant form of basic education and professional education that is carried out at school, the amateur quality education has gradually come into people’s life, which is becoming the content of people pursuing and striving for personal development. Music education especially instrumental music education has been more popular among people. Piano with the grand outlook and beautiful tone has attraction to more and more people to like and study it. As a result, this amateur team of studying piano is bigger and bigger. For example, the number of people in Hohhot who used part time or spare time to study piano is only about hundred people in 1970 s and it increases to thousands of people at the end of 20 th century, however, it amounts to tens of thousands of people at present. From the rapidly increasing number, we can conclude that the amateur piano education has a rapid development trend. During the rapid development, the frequent changes of the proportion of rapidly increasing students and the piano teachers’ team has caused a lot of social problems. For example, different educational forms and courses arrangements, the good and bad teachers intermingled in this environment and the strange training spread, which have made the amateur piano education more complicated. With such a complicated situation, it will make the process of development more difficult and the deviation of education direction. How to deal with the amateur piano education is a question which is worth to consider. Consequently, it will make a great difference to strengthen the management of social amateur piano teachers and improve the piano teachers’ quality and ability in social education.On the basis of studying present situation of the piano education in social education, this article will raise the precautions from the aspects of“theoretical quality”, “professional quality”, “personal quality” and“educational ability” to solve the problems that the piano teachers have inbasic quality and basic ability. These precautions will make three transitions of the piano education in social education including the transition from amateur to profession, from random to standardization, from profit to quality.we believe that these transitions will facilitate the general advancement of the piano teachers’ team and the healthy development of the piano education.
