Since the outbreak of the Sino Japanese war in July 25, 1894, less than three months, the war from the Korean Peninsula and Liaodong. From the beginning of time to the "Shimonoseki treaty" signed between China and Japan in the armistice, Liaodong area has been one of the main battlefield of the Sino Japanese war. The battle of Haicheng is the Qing Dynasty army in Jia Wu war from the Korean Peninsula to Liaodong the previous city landlessbattle, only a record of outstanding performance good person. Although ultimately failed toretake Haicheng to recover lost ground, but the Qing army displayed in this battle the heroic tenacious unyielding spirit is still worthy of future generations respect, the article on the battle of Haicheng in the previous battle situation are introduced, on both sides of the combat troopsprepare and plan of operations to comb.
