Research On Influence Of Wu Culture On Kunshan Dance

In nearly a decade, the “intangible cultural heritage” protection in China sees an outstanding achievement. The Kunqu Opera as the ancestors of the hundred plays is one of the key projects included in the Country and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Intangible Cultural Heritage list in earlier years. With the prosperity of China’s material and cultural development, the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, and the influence of cultures from different countries and regions, it has been difficult for the slow pace of Kunqu Opera to meet the fast rhythm of life in current time and to be attractive to people today. In order to better protect and inherit this cultural treasures, the Kunshan Dance which originates from the Kunqu Opera gradually forms and gets attention. With the thread of the relationship between Wu Culture and Kunqu Opera and the development of Kunshan Dance, the research mainly focuses on the influence of Wu Culture on Kunshan Dance, including the influence of regional culture on Kunshan Dance, the influence of refined scholar culture as well as the influence of language culture on the rhythm of Kunshan Dance, and finally concludes the peculiarity of movements of Kunshan Dance and the artistic value to Wu Culture.This article mainly presentsthe topic in five parts: First part, introduction, including the reason for selecting the topic, the research significance and literature review. In this part, it mainly discusses the research purpose and significance of the paper, briefly summarizes the research status both at home and abroad, and introduces the framework and the research content. Second part, based on the far-reaching influence of regional culture, refined scholar culture and language culture on the Kunshan Dance, it introduces the origin and development of Kunqu Opera and elegant style of acting of Kunqu Opera. Third part, it summarizes the generation and development of Kunshan Dance, and introduces the development of Kunshan Dance. Fourth part, based on the influence of "form, smooth, round" in regional culture on Kunshan Dance, the influence of "elegant, soft, beautiful" in refined scholar and the influence of "push and delay" in language culture on the rhythm of Kunshan Dnace, it digs into the dancing movements of Kunshan Dance with the influence of Wu Culture. Fifth part, it extracts the application value, aesthetic value and academic value of Kunshan Dance, interprets the research significance of Kunshan Dance from a new perspective of Wu Culture and finally summarizes and prospects the research.This article is not only the inheritance and protection of intangible cultural heritage, but also the induction of Kunshan Dance on teaching theory in practice and the distillation of its morphological characteristics, rhythm features and aesthetic style in theory. All of the above have highlighted the innovative and pioneering significance of the thesis.
