As the 20 th century American literary greats level,Hemingway and Fitzgerald made an indelible contribution to the development of American modernist literature.Hemingway’s article is concise and full of "tough guy".Fitzgerald wrote a beautiful articles, is known as a "poet" temperament of the world.Although the two people writing style is different, but it has a comparative study on the aesthetic value.From the experience of accepting the baptism of war to explore the theme of postwar American society phenomenon, and then to the traditional writing mode of the rebellion, Two people have similar trends, especially as the representative of "lost generation", the creation of the two writers eyes all focused on the post-war material height prosperity, spiritual emptiness of the American society, reveals the people’s life and has been damaged by the war in the past the hardship of life.This paper try to write from the plot model, narrative situations, narrative voice in the face of a comparative study on the creation of the two writers, about its different characteristics of narrative art, as far as possible to grasp the narrative features of different aesthetic value and significance.In the first chapter in the plot model plate first analyzes the two kinds of common in Hemingway’s novels plot model, namely the tough guy mode and the tough guy, secondly from Fitzgerald’s novel tease out looking for plot model, combined with the text comparison, compared with the simple implicit Hemingway, Fitzgerald writing more poetic, emphasize the pursuit of dreams.
