Research On The Farewell Poems Of Ten Talents Of Dali Period

Tang dynasty undergone a transition in economy, politics, culture, etc. after "An Lushan Rebellion" and turned itself from prosperity period to middle period. Ten talen ts of Dali perioed was a group of poets that famous for their farewell poetries and app eared in Tang’s transitional period. Due to the limitation of social background and livi ng experience, most of ten talents’ poetries were about farewell. With the change of th e poetries’ inner movement, political background, literary characteristic, and aesthetic climate, farewell poetry had been imrpoved for the innovation of broaden themes and improved writing skills, which showed farewell poetry’s own speciality. Thethoughts, composition and value of Ten Talent of Dali reflected the characteristic of the certain era, showed the real image of the middle Tang Dynasty. Their composition inherited the thought and artistic expression of early stage in prosperous Tang. Besides the innovation from prosperous Tang, their composition also innovated their own style. At the same time, ten talents’ works also created the writing style for later generations. Thus, "Ten Talent of Dali" had a irreplaceable status in the poetry history for it bridged the preceding and the following. Due to the limitation of social background and living experience, most of ten talents’ poetries were about farewell. Hence, this article analysises the farewell poems in certain history period and their unique characteristics and inner cause on the basis of the farewell poems of ten talents of Dali period.This article contains six sections in total. The introduction part mainly talks abou t the range of farewell poetries that are analyzed in the article. Besides, members of th e ten talents will be introduced. In addition, the background, in which the farewell poe tries prevailed will be discussed.Then, first chapter will talk about the reasons why far ewell peotries prevail from political background and cultural background respectively.The second chapter is about the content of the farewell poetries such the object, plac e, and emotion of the poetries; The next part discusses the artistic characteristics of th e farewell poetries like image structure, form, and language; The fourth section is abo ut the personal aritistic characteristics of each talents; The conclusion briefly talks abo ut the the research value of ten talents’ farewell poetries and their significant roles in t he history of farewell poetry.
