Research In QiaoZhou

Qiao Zhou is famous in Chinese history. Through the ages,whether in the process of three kingdoms towording to a unified country,or in the conversation of Chinese historiography independent development and textology budding, Qiao Zhou is always be montioned. However, limited by the short of existing data, the current historical studies mainly focus on his most famous wok CTextual research of Ancient History》,focus on his content and spirit of history textology. This essay intends to analyse this person, his deeds more deeply and systematicly, present his history spirit comprehensively, highlighting his historical contribution, based on the research of life,studies,works of Qiao zhou.Qiao Zhou’s political career was divided into two distinct periods:serving Shu and serving Jin after surrending to Wei. when in the service of Liu Chan (king of Shu),Qiao Zhou always lettered or wrote essays to espress deep expectation of the fast development of Shu, and after 50 years, although used followers of Yi Zhou always had dissatisfaction and rejection to Shu, this really cannot be the decisive factor of surrending to Wei. When Qiao Zhou advocated to surrend to Wei, he detailed his countermeasures, gains and losses. This paper analyses Qiao Zhou’s surrending to Wei standing on his individual perspective, according to the analysis of his political views and historical perspective, the current situation of that time.Later Qiao Zhou was called Confucius in "Shu".This paper do some research on his student based on his academic. Dominated by Chen Shou, analyzes the influence of Qiao Zhou academic and idea on his studuents, Carding the source and flow of Qiao Zhou academic into a clear skeleton.There are a few items of Qiao Zhou history works we can see now. This essay aims to do some arrange and textual research on them, exploring the style and content of his works. Qiao Zhou’s study on ancient Chinese history is the most insightful, and he had his own mature system. Reference to old classics dialectically in his writings, on the same time conbine his own points. His works embodiedthe view of history development and superstition. Finally, I analysed Qiao Zhou historiography contribution from the preservation of the ancient historical materials, to promoting the textual criticism historiography, and the ordinances, local chronicles achievements.
