Zhu Tianwen is one of the most important writers in the literature circles of comtemporary Taiwan. In his decades of writing career, he wrote a huge number of great works covering a wide range of topics from the stories took place in his living surroundings to the dramatic changes witnessed by the broader Taiwan society. It is worth intepreting his texts from different perspectives. In this paper we circumvent a plain discussion about Zhu’s works. Instead, we concentrate the teacher-student relationship between Hu lancheng and Zhu Tianwen and attempt to intepret Zhu’s works in the context of Hu’s philosophical spirit. Through biography research and text analysis, we start from the origin of the literature relationship between Zhu Tianwen and Hu Lancheng, discuss the influence of Hu Lancheng and the process of accepting its thought. At last, this paper analyses how Zhu Tianwen deeperly affected by Hu Lancheng’s thought in her text in San-san period, and discuss in Notes of a Desolate Man how She returned to Hu Lancheng’s cultural thoughts. The paper shows us a real image of Zhu Tianwen under the influence by Hu Lancheng.The paper is divided into three chapters.Chapter one starts from the traditional family atmosphere,discussing the full process of thoughts on the inheritance with Zhu Tianwen and Hu Lancheng, and Zhu Tianwen’s literature choice to accept the thought of Hu Lancheng.Chapter two mainly analyses the writing texts of Zhu Tianwen in San-san periods. The paper analyses the Political ideal,the earth, the moom and the mountains, and the world scenery in Danjiang Ji, then analyses the response of Zhu Tianwen on "local literary movement". His view on literature and the expectations to "intellectuals" are belong to the source of Hu Lancheng’s cultural thoughts.Chapter three concentrates on Notes of a Desolate Man. First, this chapter considers that the discussion of style in Notes of a Desolate Man is derived from Hu Lancheng ’s style view. Then, analyses "the Desolate Man" in gay relationships trying to enter an order structure, this structure is composed of Claude Levi-strauss "gold structure" and Hu Lancheng "unified concept". Last, analyses "the Desolate Man" looking for the process of identification ofhimself and political identity. This process is similar to Hu Lancheng as a "fugitives" looking for the process of national identity.Condensation of whole framework, the paper shows us a real image of Zhu Tianwen under the influence by Hu Lancheng.
