Visual system is not only an important element of public service system of the scenic spot, but also can be taken as a carrier of cultural temperament and historical context. Chengdu, as a historic city of modern tourism city, should pay attention on the integration development of Shu Culture resources. Based on the reality demand and from the perspective of design, this paper uses the field investigation, literature works reading, interdisciplinary research, analysis, and inductive method to combine the conventional Shu Culture and modern visual system, which can enrich existing research perspectives and expand Shu Culture study in advertising design. This paper includes the following aspects. Firstly, it expounds the form of Shu culture visual symbols in history, celebrity, folk custom and ecology; secondly, it discusses the current situation of Chengdu, analyzes its advertising system of multiple cases, summarizes experience and points out the problem. Thirdly, it takes Chengdu Wangjiang Park as an example to discuss its innovative advertising design with theory research and design practice. Throughout this paper, I hope it can take the whole image of the scenic area as a starting point, meeting the public demand for scenic spot advertising system information communication and setting up good tourism brand image, which can spread the information of urban culture, so as to generate a new way of tourism and public form.
