Pedagogy Of Traditional Pipa Repertoire

In the modern era, with the development of economy and the progress of the society, traditional music,the symbol of Chinese cultural image, has attract a lot of attention from the society. Among them, Pipa, the ancient Chinese plucked string instrument coruscates a new artistic charm. The traditional repertoire of Pipa is the essential part of Pipa music, which have been through the baptism of history, also the foundation of modern Pipa music. The inheritance of traditional Pipa music is a tough and endless process, but also an important responsibility of each Pipa cultural worker.This article takes traditional Pipa repertoire teaching as the research object combined with many years’Pipa learning and experience of the author and the special feeling for traditional Pipa repertoire, to the whole teaching process in the scientific, systematic and comprehensive analysis. The first chapter is an overview of traditional Pipa repertoire, With a comprehensive dissertation of concept, classification and inheritance of the traditional repertoire of Pipa, it gives us a comprehensive and detailed understanding. The second chapter will analysis the humanities connotation of traditional Pipa repertoire form the literature, painting, calligraphy and Chinese opera.The third chapter is the emphasis of this article, with a detailed analyse of the skill training, the unity of technology and ideas, the expression of music emotion and the class design of the traditional Pipa repertoire teaching, it concludes the universal rules of traditional pipa repertoire teaching. The fourth chapter selects the traditional martial repertoire "The Warlord Takes Off His Armour" and traditional civil repertoire "Xulai" as examples, to make a detailed analysis of the teaching.Through a detailed analyse and dissertation of traditional Pipa repertoire teaching, the author attempts to process a profound excavation on traditional Pipa music culture essence. Also with the effective teaching thought and teaching method to give traditional music better inheritance and development.
