The Music Research Of Yintieliang’s Vocal Works

Born in Hebei province, Yin Tieliang deeply loves this familiar piece of land, where the folk minor and local opera nourish his soul of music. Affected by his father in adolescence along with the troupe’s artistic practice and years of learning in university, all these have laid a good foundation for his future in music.Since engaged in music creation, Yin Tieliang created many different genres and style of the works.For example, only vocal song has reached to nearly three hundred. Based on absorption of folk tunes, and combined with western composition techniques, his vocal music works have not only the charm of Chinese traditional music, but the characteristics of the new era.Due to easy to sing and remember along with suiting both refined and general tastes, his melodies are very popular and won rave reviews among insiders and the public.This paper tries to take the following six songs as the breakthrough point to analyze Yin Tieliang’s vocal worksfrom a point to an area, including the Vocal Suite “Lotus Love”,“Dream drunk Dutch in Lotus pond”,“Hengshui Lake, a beautiful lake”,“Tong xi ”,“The most lovely person”and “Homeland”.Under the influence of the concept of “live musical studies”proposed by my tutor Duan Xuejun during graduate period, the author began to consciously collect Yin Tieliang’s vocal works and tried to figure out these works as a first-year graduate student.The structure of the thesis are as follows:The first chapter is mainly on the research of Yin Tieliang’s personal music experience along with the background of his main works;The second chapter is a systematic analysis and study of various elements of Yin Tieliang’s vocal works of music; The third chapter on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of Yin Tieliang’s vocal works, the author summarizes the creative thinking and artistic characteristics of Yin Tieliang’s vocal works.
