The Research Of The Storytelling Reform In Shaan-Gan-Ning Border Region Under The Perspective Of Political Culture (1944-1949)

Northern Shaanxi Storytelling is one of the traditional Chinese folk art forms that deeply spread in the loess plateau in north Shaanxi. Together with folk artists, the literary and art workers reformed the old traditional Northern Shaanxi storytelling into "new storytelling" that began to flourish in the border region with new contents reflected such as class struggles, productive struggles and military struggles and so on in the wave of the local folk art reform in Yan’an Movement. This article summarizes primarily the historical background, how the storytelling was reformed in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region. And then started from the contract relations of conflicts and cooperation between the educated elite and folk artists, the text explores not only the specific measures of the storytelling reform, but focus also, how to achieve the efficiency of the storytelling society under the interactive between social politics and civil society, which then get some inspiration and reflection.The first part provides an overview of the development of northern Shaanxi storytelling before the transformation, introduces the basis performing form of the storytelling, analyzes the necessity and urgency of the storytelling reform, which proceeded with the flourish of the closely combination and rural entertainment under storytelling and the local customs, reveals that the reform of the storytelling is inevitable when this traditional folk arts came across the Marxism in China.The second part reviews the specific measures for the storytelling reform under the political words, which Han Qi xiang centered investigates the new creative storytelling mode of cooperation between elite and folk artists, new words centered analyzes the creative concept of the new storytelling and the realistic creative mode of the political service, and meanwhile emphasizes the deep impact on the storytelling reform from political culture.The third part summarizes the historical effects of the new storytelling, which takes the interaction of civilian and politics as a starting point, elaborates what the storytelling art itself highlighted, and combines all kinds of political movements caused by the border region government, seeking to understand the actual achievement of new storytelling works in the process of cultural rectification and political mobilization.The fourth part analyzes the main trends of the protection work of the present storytelling while rethinking the history. The successful experiments of amending storytelling not only underscored the importance of the artists and the theme choices to the storytelling creation but also emphasized that storytelling creation must keep pace with time.
