| Buid the tombstone architecture on the ground before the burial mound is an important folk funeral customs of Sichuan East, north area since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. From the quantity or the heavy and complication of the process, the Hao Zhankui’s can be said to be a local prominent tombstone architecture works. In this paper, through the research of Hao Zhankui tombstone building with carved flower decorative patterns, first is to enrich the research information, resources of Chinese folk art, make the filed of Chinese art research more perfect and overall, second is to through the tombstone building with carved flower decorative pattern, we can understand the local residents’ religion, folk custom, aesthetic tendency and aesthetic habits, proved strong evidence for our study on local residents’ religious belief, folk custom, aesthetic tendency, and aesthetic habits.The study found that, on Hao Zhankui’s tombstone architecture, with flowers as the theme of the sculpture is not in the minority, the vast majority of them are distributed on the left and right sides or the bottom of the tombstone architecture. In the flower theme choice, choose the peony, chrysanthemum, lotus, and some from a wide variety of grafted, synthesized species. The ideas of flower carved decoration, formed mainly from several aspects, longing for freedon, contain natural breath, Peter thought and meaning auspicious etc.. Flower carved decorative pattern using two forms of organization, the individual patterns and suitable patterns, and in suitable patterns also apply the corner patterns and trim patterns as the organization form. In the manner of composition, flower carved decorative pattern using symmetric patterns, equilibrium, vertical type pattern, radiation patterns and the cyclotron type pattern as the five modes of composition. And in the symmetrical patterns are also applied two different kinds of composition the relatively symmetric patterns and the absolute symmetry patterns.Through the research of 16 carving paintings on the inner wall of Hao Zhankui tombstone, draw the following three stylized rules: First: the table display vases with plants in it. Second: flower plant out from Shoushan, Shoushi, or directly in the mode of composition of caving vertically on the wall with seeing roots. Third: in addition to put flower plants in the vase, it also inserted combination form of flags, brush, folding halberd with auspicious objects. Moreover, these three kinds of composition organization models have a common characteristic, in the same picture, which will be a flower exaggerated very large, bigger than other similar flower, in order to distinguish between primary and secondary.And according to the colors remains on the 16 carving paintings on the inner wall of Hao Zhankui tombstone, especially the red background color, we can find that the residents in that time treat life indifferently and free and easy, and take death calmly calm, is fulfilled the local people’s free and easy feelings as they called the funeral as white happy event. The through-carved flower and decorations on the memorial archway of Hao Zhankui tombstone building, fully reflects that the local residents at that age have taken a great attention on their tombstone building, and the superb skill of the craftsmen. |
