An Analysis Of The Research Project Of Science And Technology Study Of Cultural Heritages’ Protection Hosted By The State Cultural Relics Bureau In 1990-2013

The research project of Science and Technology Study of Cultural Heritages’ Protection—— hosted by the State Cultural Relics Bureau is a means of protecting the Chinese cultural heritages.It is also the wind vane to know the protect condition of China’s cultural heritages as well. In this paper, the writer mainly summarizes and analyzes the data of 567 items research projects of science and technology study of cultural heritages’ protection during the years from1990 to 2013, which is directed by the State Cultural Relics Bureau.The writer uses the bibliometric method to analyzes the statistics,which includes the researches’ quantities in the year,regional distribution, the researches in colleges and universities, the types of the institutions which hosts the project and the research areas of the research projects.By doing this work,the writer try to find out the point in the area of China’s cultural heritage protection technology research.Further on,it does good to find the development tendency of it and know its feature in these days.After the summary of all kinds of data by Excel,we can see that : the research subjects mainly gather in the area where reflects obvious cultural advantages and economic development from the point of view of subject regional distributions, the former such as Beijing and Shanxi, the latter such as Shanghai and Jiangsu; However, Ningxia and minority areas in Yunnan fall behind from a very large extent. From the point of project unit affiliation, it is basically hosted by all kinds of professional archaeological research institutes, but the proportion of the system of colleges and universities are increasing since 2000, the number of projects increase to even more than 50% in 2010.In terms of project topic research,the basic researches account for the most.On the basis of statistical analysis and the arrangement of the topic, we can find that it reflects other characteristics in the project development. The research project of science and technology study of cultural heritages’ protection has a high development from 1990 to 2013. During the years, it appears obvious characteristics in different stages. We can divide them into 3 periods by its appearing features. Advocacy period(1990-1998):during this period, the research in China is just starting out,the amounts is of research is rare—10 items every year equally and the field of the study is quite narrow. Rapid development period(1999-2005):compared with the previous period, the project numbers increases significantly,the items add to 45 each year,but the problem is that the number changes instability. Next period is Continued development period(2006-2013):in this phase, the project items continue to rise on the whole, and the change range is small.There are 4 features in this development period:Firstly,the core research area is Beijing;Secondly,the colleges and universities develop into the most power of approving and initiating projects in these years;Thirdly,the research appears diversified;Th last not least,macropolicy management is the hot spot in current research.At last,the paper tries to give some advises about three sides on approving a nd initiating a project:the depth of investigation,regional cooperation and the man agement.
