The Influence Of Drak Triad To Inter-personal Relation Andtheory Of Mind

Objectives: This research attempted to explore the influence of Drak Triad(Machiavellianism,psychopathy,narcissism)to Inter-Personal Relation under different gender.Meanwhile,the study also aimed at investigating the relation between the Drak Triad and the satisfaction of Inter-Personal Relation by Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations(TRIM-12) as the mediator,gender as moderator between narcissism and Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations, Machiavellianism as moderator between revenge motivationg and peer relation.Furtherly exploring the relationships between the Drak Triad and the Theory of Mind. Methods: The whole group of extraction of 700 undergraduate students in a university of Zhengzhou city were assessed. The Chinese Revised Dirty Dozen, the Chinese Revised Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Scale-12-Item Form, Inter-Personal Relationthe satisfaction Questionnaire and the peer rating scale were employed to collect the effective observed data, Employing Faux Pas test Reading the Mind in the Eyes test and Spontaneous Mentalization test,which was processed statistically by using test, correlation analysia, moderated and mediated effect,multivariate statistical methods of stepwise regression analysis. Results:(1)There is no significant and gender differences in narcissism and aviodance motivation(t=-1.09,p>0.05;t=-1.82,p>0.05);the males’ Machiavellianism and narcissism was significantly higher than females’(t=5.75,p<0.01;t=4.99,p<0.01); the males’ revenge motivation was significantly higher than females’(t=3.29,p<0.01); The females’ Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction and peer relation score was significantly higher than males’(t=-5.28,p<0.01;t=-4.43,p<0.01);the males’ communicatoion parclose and the conflict scores was significantly higher than females’(t=3.98,p<0.01;t=4.71,p<0.01);the males’ benefit and support each other,capable and extroversion,similar and morality scores was significantly lower than females’(t=-4.29,p<0.01;t=-3.84,p<0.01;t=-3.85,p<0.01;t=-3.83,p<0.01).(2)The Drak Triad higher group’ total score of TRIM-12, aviodance motivation and revenge motivation scores was significantly higher than the Drak Triad lower group’(t=-6.05, p<0.01;t=-7.94,p<0.01;t=-3.33,p<0.01);the Drak Triad higher group’ Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction and peer relation score was significantly lower than the Drak Triad lower group’(t=4.41,p<0.01;t=2.40,p<0.01);the higher group’ communicatoion parclose and the conflict scores was significantly higher than the lower group’(t =-5.61,p<0.01;t=-5.83,p<0.01);the higher group’ capable and extroversion,similar and morality scores was significantly lower than the lower group’(t=2.07,p<0.05;t =2.55,p<0.05;t=2.72,p<0.01);There is no significant differences in benefit and support each other between the two groups.(3)The Drak Triad was positively correlated with the total score of TRIM-12,aviodance motivation and revenge motivation scores(r=0.366,p<0.01;r=0.410,p<0.01;r=0.247,p<0.01);Drak Triad was negative correlated with Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction and peer relation score(r=-0.338,p<0.01;r=-0.180,p<0.05);Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction was negative correlated with Machiavellianism and psychopathy(r=-0.157,p<0.05; r=-0.216,p<0.05);the total score of TRIM-12 was negative correlated with Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction(r=-0.244,p<0.01); Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction was positively correlated with peer relation score(r=0.193,p<0.01).(4)Gender was the moderator between narcissism and Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations.(5)Partial mediating effect of TRIM-12 between the Drak Triad and the Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction was significant, and the ratio of mediating effect to total effect was 14.98%.(6)Machiavellianism was the moderator between revenge motivationg and peer relation.(7)The higher group’ score of Reading the Mind in the Eyes test was significantly lower than the lower group’(t =-2.21,p<0.05);the higher group’ score of Faux Pas test and Spontaneous Mentalization test were significantly higher than the lower group’(t=3.32,p<0.01;t =4.93,p<0.01). Conclusions: Among the undergraduate students, the Drak Triad level of male was higher than the female’,but the male have the lower satisfaction of Inter-Personal Relation.The Drak Triad higher group’ have the lowe satisfaction of Inter-Personal Relation and peer relation score.Because who has the high level of the Drak Triad were good to cover their true purpose when they implement revenge,so their true purpose usually can not be found by their peers. Because the person who have the Drak Triad personality tend to have the high level of the transgression-related interpersonal Motivations,so they also experience the lower satisfaction of inter-personal relation.Gender was the moderator between narcissism and Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations. Partial mediating effect of TRIM-12 between the Drak Triad and the Inter-Personal Relation satisfaction was significant.The higher group’ ability of “hot” reading in mind was significantly lower than the lower group’;the higher group’ ability of “cold” reading in mind and the motivation of reading in mind were significantly higher than the lower group’.
