The Research On Authenticity Protection And Heritage Of The Intangible Cultural Heritage

Intangible cultural heritage is coming from the concentration of the the United Nations Educational Scientific and cultural organization. Intangible Cultural Heritage caused a lot of discussion since 2003,researchers had made some achievements in the ten years of researches and practices.How to protect the intangible cultural heritage protection of intangible cultural heritage, each subject related to it how to allocate responsibility, and enjoy what rights, has become hot issues in the academic discussion. However, how to protect intangible cultural heritage, and how to allocate the main roles in protection and heritage,has become a dilemma.This study selected the perspective of “authenticity” to discuss the protection of intangible cultural heritage,with a vivid case of authenticity to explore the feasibility and necessity,and respond to the academic debate on non-heritage protection. The drum dance of Miao people in western Hunan was declared as intangible cultural heritage.In the context of the market economy, its development and changes showing the combination of economic development and intangible heritage protection,also showing the efforts of protecting authenticity. Therefore, we choose authenticity protection of the drum dance of Miao people in western Hunan as a case to explore the direction of non-heritage protection.This study clearly use the concept of "authenticity".On one hand,present the origins, transition, modern features, the current protection of the drum dance of Miao people in western Hunan.On the other hand,describe heritages’ recreation of the dance, to explore the dynamic and structure of it, indicate that the dance is an living heritage of the intangible cultural heritage in Dehang.Then rethink the efforts the government and local people have made.The research discovers that conservation practice in Dehang of the drum dance of Miao people in western Hunan,has made it more open and inclusive.It’s a living heritage and protection practice,also a practice that respected inheritors.Finally,based on the discussion concludes that all intangible cultural heritage cannot avoid the impact of economic development, changing is a normal. Protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage is to protect “authenticity” of intangible cultural heritage.The right direction of the protection of intangible cultural heritage should be open and inclusive attitude in the face of non genetic changes, respect inheritors’ creation,giving it live transmission soil.
